How do I get the Daily Text content?
Download the "Examining the Scriptures Daily" EPUB from jw.org. Search for the publication, select the current year, choose "Text" under Download Options, then select "EPUB" format. Once downloaded, open DailyGlance and tap "Select EPUB File" to import it.
How do I add a widget to my Home Screen?
Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen until the apps jiggle. Tap the + button in the top corner, search for "DailyGlance", choose your preferred size (Small, Medium, or Large), and tap "Add Widget".
Why isn't my widget showing content?
Make sure you've imported an EPUB file for the current year. Open the DailyGlance app and check that the daily text is displaying correctly. If the EPUB is from a different year, download the current year's publication from jw.org.
How do I customize the widget appearance?
Open the app and use the customization options: choose a Style (Classic or Date Focused), select Colors (System or Custom), pick a Font (Default, Serif, or Rounded), and adjust the Text Size slider.
Do I need to download a new EPUB each year?
Yes. The "Examining the Scriptures Daily" publication is released annually with new content for each year. When the new year begins, download the new EPUB from jw.org and import it into DailyGlance.
What widget sizes are available?
DailyGlance offers Small (scripture reference), Medium (reference and text), and Large (full daily text with commentary) widgets. Choose the size that best fits your Home Screen.
